It lost it’s cool 5 years ago as far as I’m concerned. On the flip side it’s made a whole generation of guys car enthusiasts which is a good thing. Their taste will evolve with age.

I’m all for having a good time in cars, but the whole forced casualness of it kinda pisses me off.
It doesn’t help that it’s so tied in with the “m4d tyte JDM” crowd. Ugh.

Lost its cool about 3 years ago when I crashed my car and moved on.
In all actuality though I still kind of like that scene. Its just about going out and having fun, I can support that. Yea there are dumb people that do it, but you get that with every kind of car group.

Those asinine stickers are just the lame email addresses people choose when they are in college. Yeah, when you’re 18-22 and invincible and obviously know more than everyone else, those contrarion and vulgar emails and stickers are so hilarious. Right up until the moment you need to give you email address to a potential employer...
Damn kids. Grow up.

I kind of like them on drift cars, they’re literally getting hit into walls and other cars for hours at a time, might as well put some stupid stickers on the damn thing.

Yeah, but that implies that the kids that put those stickers on their cars care enough about looking professional to make a non-horrible email address.
I am probably wrong, but going by some of the sticker I have seen, I’m not sure they actually care about being professional or acting responsible.

And the fucking list of stuff in your car on the side of the windshield, like blocking the view. How do they not get a fix it ticket? I don’t have a picture of that, but one I saw had a Geo Tracker sticker among other stuff that made no sense.

My friends neighbor has a Lancer, NOT THE EVO, A LANCER.
It says Derper on the windshield in some multicolor changing sticker. One day it’ll have nice wheels on it, then the next it has steelies with no hubcaps and then back to a different set of nice wheels.
Then my grandparents neighbor is a drift ricer. Bought a nice G37 only to “rust the hood and fenders”, lower it so bad it needs ramps to get in the driveway with a 2 in height. Has some retarded exhaust that sticks up to the height of the trunk lid and wheels with camber thats like -100 camber. The wheels look like a broken tie rod or no upper control arm. I dont get it. I had to explain it to my grandpa who was confused about why someone would ruin a perfectly nice car. Which aside from the retards that own it, it is.
I’m glad the neighbor across from them is a cop, and tickets that fucker every time its on the street for illegal modifications.
